Why be concerned of how others would treat you but be more concerned on how you would receive others in the "family". When our mind is filled with ways to be a blessing, we have no time to dwell in our personal problems. It gives God an opportunity to work on them for us.

So sorry I was not able to attend the couple's Bible study at you place my spouse was working 16 hours that day and i had so much work to finish. Thanks for the invite though. God Bless
